Known as The Solar Man of India, Sachin Drupada Yashwant Shigwan is successfully running a social enterprise organisation in the field of Environment and Education. For the last 10 years, the organisation contributed enthusiastically to the educational growth of rural school children of India and to creating awareness amongst Indian youth towards nature and the environment.

The Green India Initiative Private limited till now has lit up 480+ villages in eight states of India and Sachin has personally worked in more than 350 villages to understand the real issues of rural India. He has a mission of lighting up 1000 rural schools/villages with the help of solar energy till 2025.
